Hair Massager Comb

A wide-tooth comb and scalp massager in one, carved from green sandalwood, with two satin hairbands in a cotton pouch. The rounded, thick teeth glide through hair without tugging — including thick, wavy, and textured hair that finer combs fight. Turn it over in your palm and it becomes a gua sha for the scalp. Use it dry as your everyday brush, or with our Ritual Hair Oil for a champi you give yourself.

Inside the Set

• The brush. Wide-set teeth with thick, rounded ends move through hair without catching, wet or dry. No handle, by design — the rounded, palm-sized shape sits easy in the hand and lets you set your own pressure, light and drifting or firm and deliberate. Green sandalwood, unscented and static-free.
• Two satin hairbands, set with small crystals for the ritual nobody else sees. Satin glides where elastic drags, so hair ties back without creasing, and unlike cotton it won't wick the oil from your hair while it sits. Best suited for fine and medium hair.
• A cotton pouch to keep it all together, and to keep the wood dry between uses.

Our Roots

Champi is the head massage every South Asian child knows — warm oil, someone's hands in your hair, an hour that could not be hurried. It was never really about the hair. We made this for hands that have run out of people to do it for them, so you can take the hour for yourself.
